Gtechniq Crystal Serum Light lasts 3 to 5 years with proper maintenance. Avoid brushed automated car washes, wash with pH-neutral soap, and consider a ceramic spray booster every 6 months to extend protection.
Wax is a topical product that sits on paint and lasts 3–6 months. Our 12-month wax lasts up to a year. Ceramic coating is different in kind — it chemically bonds to the clear coat and becomes a permanent semi-hard layer. It lasts years, not months, and provides far superior hydrophobic properties, UV protection, and chemical resistance.
No. Ceramic coating adds UV, chemical, and light scratch resistance — but it won't protect against rocks or impact damage. For chip protection, you'd want paint protection film (PPF) on high-impact areas. Some customers do PPF on the front + ceramic coating over everything.
We strongly recommend against it. Brushed car washes create swirl marks that degrade the coating's appearance over time. A touchless rinse is acceptable. Best option is a two-bucket hand wash with pH-neutral soap.
You can drive after 12 hours. Avoid washing for 7 days to allow full cure. Avoid bird droppings, tree sap, and rain during the first 24 hours if possible.

No. We are fully self-sufficient. Our Ford F-250 carries a water tank (no hose needed) and a generator (no outlet needed). Just tell us where to park — we handle everything else.
Interior standard: 2–3 hours. Interior deep clean: 3–5 hours. Exterior basic: 1–2 hours. Ceramic coating: 6–10 hours (full day). We'll give you an accurate estimate when you book.
Not necessarily — as long as we have access to the vehicle and a spot to park. Most customers leave the car and go about their day. We'll text you when we're done or if we have any questions during the job.
Light rain or drizzle isn't usually a problem for interior-only work. Exterior detailing and ceramic coating require dry conditions — we'll reschedule at no cost if weather forces a change. Carson monitors forecasts and reaches out proactively.

Yes — as long as there's a space to park the truck near your vehicle. Office parking lots and garages work great. Just mention the location when booking.
Often better. Mobile detailing is performed one car at a time by the same person who owns the business. There's no volume pressure, no employees cutting corners, and no conveyor belt. Carson handles every vehicle personally with the same care and products regardless of job size.
Machine polishing removes scratches that are confined to the clear coat layer. Deep scratches that reach the base coat or primer need touch-up paint or repainting — polishing won't fix those. Carson assesses paint before every job and tells you exactly what can and can't be corrected.
Swirl marks are micro-scratches in the clear coat caused by: automatic car washes with brushes, dry wiping dust off paint, improper wash technique (single bucket, wrong cloth), and low-quality detailers using the wrong equipment. Machine polishing removes them. Ceramic coating slows their return.
